Committed to our Community
At Heart in Hand Support Services, we believe meaningful change begins with genuine connection and unwavering dedication to those we serve. Our commitment runs deeper than just providing services – we actively participate in initiatives that strengthen our community, from local fundraising events to advocacy of individual rights to be supported and family crisis support.
Heart in Hand is proud to be more than just a service provider – we’re your neighbours, advocates, and partners in building a stronger, more compassionate community. Every cause we support reflects our core values of empathy, integrity, and hope, because when we come together, there’s no challenge we can’t face.
World MS Day
We were privileged to celebrate World MS Day at Government House in Brisbane, where we had the honour of hearing inspiring stories from those living with MS. This special event reminded us of the incredible strength and resilience within our community and reinforced our commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by multiple sclerosis. Being part of such a meaningful gathering strengthened our resolve to continue advocating for those we serve and celebrating the courage of everyone living with MS.
MS Super Splash
We are proud to participate in MS Super Splash, where for the past few years our dedicated team has taken to the water to swim for our clients living with MS. This meaningful event allows us to raise vital funds that directly support ongoing care for those we serve while contributing to important MS research. Every stroke we take represents our commitment to the MS community and our belief that together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis.
Brissie To The Bay
This year marked a special milestone for Heart in Hand Support Services as we participated in our first Ride for Neuro at the Brissie To The Bay event. Joining over 4,500 riders, our team pedalled with purpose, united by the shared understanding that we all know someone living with a neurological condition. This inspiring event brought together the community to raise awareness and funds for neurological research and support, reinforcing our commitment to standing alongside those affected by these conditions.
MS Moonlight Walk 2023
Our Heart in Hand Support Services team proudly flocked up in pink tutus and walked 10 kilometres for our clients who can’t. What an honour it is that we can stand as one for the ones we support. Every step we took represented our unwavering commitment to those we serve, and the vibrant pink tutus symbolized the joy and determination we bring to advocating for our community. Walking together reminded us that we’re not just a team – we’re a family united in purpose.
Open Day at Vitality Village
We’re grateful for the opportunity to showcase our additional services to the community and partners within the sector. These valuable connections allow us to demonstrate how Heart in Hand Support Services can better serve our community through collaboration and shared expertise. A big thank you to Vitality Village and Comlink for welcoming us into your network – together, we can create stronger support systems and reach more people who need our services.
